Anna Mary is a graduate of the RSAMD (now known as the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) where she obtained a BMus, PGDip and a Masters in bassoon performance. 

Since graduating Anna Mary has performed with the following orchestras and ensembles:  Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the orchestra of Scottish Ballet, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra and Opera Bohemia. 

Along with a busy teaching schedule, Anna Mary also enjoys playing in chamber ensembles and has taken part in several community and outreach projects within this capacity. 

Aside from her musical commitments, Anna Mary is kept busy with a very energetic little toddler – Alice!
