Irena is a graduate from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Royal Northern College of Music. Whilst at the RCS Irena won both the Governors Solo Recital Prize for Woodwind and the Concerto Competition and began her busy freelance career. Irena has worked with the RSNO, BBC SSO, Scottish Opera, Scottish Ballet, and Royal Northern Sinfonia and BBC Philharmonic. She also loves working with young people teaches at Big Noise Govanhill and Renfrewshire Saturday Music Service.
